Time- Late Cretaceous 65 million years ago
Place- North America (Montana, USA)
Animals- Ankylosaurus, Dakotraraptor, Didelphodon, Edmontosaurus, Ornithomimus, Pachycephalosaurus, Quetzacoatalus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex, Troodon

It is the end of the Mesozoic Era, & the continents are taking on their modern forms! Volcanos dominate the landscape, spewing out gases wherever they can. The world is still ruled by dinosaurs, but life on Earth.... is choking to death!
A flock of Ornithomimuses with a pair of Pachycephalosauruses are drinking water at a watering hole, when a large dromeosaur, Dakotaraptor, spoils their drink as they run off. The raptor was only here to drink as well, but even he has to be wary of the other large dinosaurs here. Such as the last of the hadrosaurs, Edmontosaurus, the armored Ankylosaurus with a 100 pound club. Even the famous 3 horned Triceratops are a threat to the raptor. The massive pterosaur, Quetzacoatalus, swoops over head to fish. All these creatures have some form of defense, for the ultimate predator here. One that still strikes fear into our hearts even today. The king of the dinosaurs- Tyrannosaurus rex! A T-rex pair is asleep after finishing their meal, & the female is expecting, soon. As she'll have to build a nest.
A week later, & the female has layed her nest & eggs. The male goes off to hunt. & tries his luck on Edmontosaurus. He stalks them & charges & bites on the tail. However, the herbivore managed to get away! The male growls, as he then realized he was close to the Ankylosaurus, who almost swings his tail at his leg! Not wanting a broken leg, the male goes off to rest & try again later. The next day, both Rexes decide to hunt together, the female had camaflauges her nest incase small mammals like Didelphodon try to steal her eggs. They spot a male Trike, browing on low shrubs. However, this will be the last hunt they'll make! As looming above in space, hurling toward the planet- is a meteor, 6 miles in diameter! As the rexes chase the Trike, the local volcano had just gone off erupting right as the meteor smashes into the Yucatan Peninsula! The sudden impact causes the animals to flee as the ash & smoke block the sun! Killing the plants in a matter of days!
A month after the impact, & some of the last dinosaurs have just died of starvation. The only dinos alive during this nuclear winter are the small dromeosaurus like Troodon. But they too will die. & the only land animals to survive are mammals, small reptiles, & even the dinosaurs decendants that still live today- the birds!
